Commie Unicorns

Nothing says Christmas like a couple of Cold War Unicorns! Brettage gave me this epic battle between “Commie” and “Freedom” (in doll form) last night and I couldn’t be happier. It just goes to show kids, that dreams really do come true. But only if you’re dreams involve communist unicorns.
Makin’ Babies
My good friends Michael and Barbara Nelson just had their first child, Jaden Michael Nelson. He was born on Thursday, December 11th at 11:58pm.
Little Jaden Nelson came in weighing in at 6 pounds, 3 ounces and was delivered all natural (Barbara is one tough cookie). I’m really excited about this because I have known Mikey since we were little kids racing 80’s together and this is the first of my close childhood friends to have a child. I’m really happy for him and his new family and I wish them all the best. You can check the little guy out right here.
On a side note, does it make me weird if the first thing I think of when someone says “baby” and “11:58pm” is Iron Maiden? As soon as I heard Jaden was born “two minutes to midnight” this is the first thing that popped in my head!
Winter commute
I live ten miles from my office. It took two hours to drive to work today. By doing the math you will see i should totally stop designing for a living and take up Nascar.
