AccuTerra for the iPhone won Best iPhone OS 3.0 Beta App at the 2009 Apple Design Awards. This amazing mobile application is unlike any other on the market today. AccuTerra for the iPhone provides terrain maps with relief data and other details that Google Maps (built into the iPhone) doesn’t provide. You can load a map, plan a hike, track your excursion with detailed routes, photos and statistics and then share a virtual walking tour of your journey via email or Facebook. If that wasn’t amazing enough, this GPS application works even when your iPhone is out of service range!
